Biography - Fernandez' work expresses a long contact with the people who till the soil and sell their wares in the marketplace. While his paintings touch upon the daily lives of the campesinos in his native country, knowledge of his work extends well beyond those borders.
Exhibitions - His work has been exhibited in Nicaragua, Guatemala and Europe, as well as in the United States.
